Class Happenings:
Language Arts and Reading
Students will be working on oral blending, beginning, middle, and ending sounds. Continued writing in their Writing Folders with emphasis on sentence structure. (Capitals and punctuation marks.)
Learning new Word Family words.
Mon. /Tues. reading groups are working hard with their group leaders.
Science
We will learn how Matter changes, What is Energy, How Things move, and Forces.
Social Studies
We are learning about Values, Principles and Beliefs; Individual Rights and Responsibilities, Human and Natural Resources, and Consumers and Producers.
Math
This month we will begin with concepts of Tables with tally marks, Graphs, and Fractions; and end with addition and subtraction readiness.
Religion
After reviewing Lent and the “rice bowl”, we are learning how JESUS teaches us to pray, how we celebrate JESUS' gift of himself, HE wants us to follow in HIS ways, and “The Three Days“. (Triduum)

Kindergarten Graduation 2011
...Will be Wednesday- May 18, 2011 starting at 8:45 am to about 10:30am. The program will be held in the church, with a reception being held in the social hall.
Caps and Gowns
We will be sending home information this week on the cost of the caps and gowns.
