Development Development Office update: October 2008A scholarship endowment fund has been established to assist those in need of tuition assistance. The funds are held at the Diocese of Raleigh. If you would like to contribute to this fund, please contact Mrs Corders at 910-483-3902. Thanks to the generosity of our St. Ann family members, the Development Office is pleased to announce we have completed the second phase of our library update. The first phase (24 new chairs with memorial plaques) was completed during the 2007-2008 school year. The second phase (4 new tables) arrived this week and we are planning a special celebration to thank those who have supported us in this endeavor. The final phase of this undertaking is to replace nine wooden bookcases. At this time, we have three paid for. If you are interested in participating in this project Please call Mrs Corders at 910-483-3902 during school hours or via email principal@stanncatholicschool.org. The Development Office is pleased to announce the approval of a grant to The Neighborhood Youth Center to provide software to enhance Math and Phonics skills. The amount awarded was $5000. There are several other grant proposals pending, please continue to pray for the continued success of this office. FUNDS RAISED IN SCHOOL YEAR 2008-2009 year to date is $5600.00 Thank you for your continued support of Saint Ann Catholic School. |
